About Us
For MKT founder June Lupiani, food is love. It brings families together, knits communities together and takes care of everyone. Driving through Grafton in 2015, June saw the chance to bring some love to the recently shuttered 200 year old general store.
Mixing together local ingredients and a gourmet sensibility, MKT aims to deliver great food in a great spot all while supporting local farmers, artists, and, well, basically everyone who walks through the door. June and Chef Kelly McNamara craft seasonal specialties and family favorites out of the best that Vermont has to offer.
The store, in keeping with the mission of a general store, has everyday staples and a range of treats from craft beers and fine wines to unexpected flavors to Vermont-crafted goods.

Owner + Founder
June started working in food when she was 13 years old and she hasn’t slowed down since. With a degree in Food, Nutrition and Wellness, she has spent her life studying how to make people feel good. She’s worked at world-class spas, and designed nutrition plans for pro athletes. But her favorite team is the one that makes a certain small town general store sing, and her favorite dish is the chat served over the tables on the deck with a fresh cup of coffee and a cider donut.
Kelly McNamara

Chef Kelly has been with MKT since it all began in 2016. Kelly’s natural talent for creating delicious food is in her genes - she is from a family of Vermont chefs and home cooks. Her love of cooking and her love of family go hand in hand and that is never more apparent than in the extraordinary culinary delights she creates. Vermont is her home and that shows through in her food. Trust us, you can taste it!
